THREE local artists from the IMMART Network and THREE artists from the wider Nordic region will work together for 4 days to produce a site specific art work on the theme of RE:CONNECT. The six artists will spend a day exploring and learning about the site in and around URBAN13. They will then work for a further three days to produce an artwork that will be exhibited at the ARTIVAL Finale. The project is led by IMMART Network member, photographer and visual artist, Angélique Sanossian.

In addition to the IMMART artists already exhibiting at Gallerie Lorien, Frederiksberg, 4 artists from the IMMART Network are invited to apply to exhibit at the gallery in Bornholm in the group exhibition, RE:CONNECT. The exhibition will be from 18-28 May and be part of this year’s Bornholm’s Kunstrunde. The exhibition is curated by Tina Lorien.

We are inviting applications from IMMART Network artists who work with literature, poetry and/or performance for ARTIVAL RE:CONNECT. Six artists will be selected to participate in a half-day tailored workshop on multimedia poetry and performance led by Elizabeth Torres from Red Door. with the opportunity to perform in an open mic event the same day.
