An Erasmus+ project lead by IMMART in partnership with Globe Art Point in Finland and Fresh Arts Coalition Europe in France
Access, Advocacy, and Active Inclusion – Pathways to increasing Diversity in the Arts and Culture Field (AAA) is dedicated to empowering the European arts and culture community to reshape their approach toward artists with migration backgrounds and cultural workers.
This transformation centers on promoting inclusive practices, equality, and the combatting of discrimination as part of organizational development. AAA achieves this mission by enhancing the quality of adult and lifelong learning opportunities among artists and cultural workers through comprehensive research, the creation of instructional resources, and the establishment of training and mentoring pathways for artists and cultural practitioners at the local, national, and transnational levels. The initiative will include a series of educational visits to Denmark, France, and Finland. These visits will inform the development of blueprints for prototype learning materials, training modules, a mentorship program, and a digital guide tailored to the integration of artists and cultural professionals with migrant backgrounds. These resources will be crafted using a creative design methodology, which involves rigorous evaluation, live testing, both in-person and online, and an iterative redesign processes.
Together with our partners, Fresh Arts Coalition Europe (FACE) and Globe Art Point (GAP), IMMART will enhance its knowledge and competencies for the benefit of our organisation and constituents as well.
The project will yield a prototype for a transnational inclusion training module designed for cultural leaders and industry gatekeepers, a digital guide to facilitate the inclusion of artists and cultural professionals with migration backgrounds (as an educational tool to enhance engagement with this underrepresented marginalised group) within arts and culture organisations, and a prototype mentoring program tailored to artists with migration backgrounds.

Founded in 2016, IMMART is a pioneering arts organization rooted in Nicol Savinetti’s research on migration and social citizenship. It focuses on integrating culturally diverse artists into Denmark's arts scene, advocating for social equity and inclusion. IMMART excels in creating cross-cultural networks and opportunities for migrant artists, enriching the national arts landscape. With activities spanning networking events, collaborative projects, and contributions to migration discourse, IMMART extends its impact to Finland, Sweden, and beyond, connecting with global partners.
Globe Art Point ry (G.A.P.) is a national association for the development of art and culture, founded in September 2016 by foreign-born professional artists, cultural workers and entrepreneurs living in Finland. The core mission of Globe Art Point is advocating cultural equity, diversity and inclusion in the arts and cultural sector in Finland. G.A.P. also serves as an information centre and meeting point for artists, cultural workers and arts & cultural institutions in Finland
Established in 2014 as a non-for-profit association, Fresh Arts Coalition Europe (FACE) is a resource platform promoting international cooperation and fresh practices in the performing arts. It facilitates new partnerships within Europe and with the rest of the world by building bridges between cultural institutions, arts organisations and independent experts. Working as an international connector at all levels, FACE supports organisations to develop cooperation projects, organises learning experiences within and outside of Europe, and connects cultural operators and professionals to new perspectives and opportunities.
