The initiative is about using art as a tool for fostering organic integration, integration that arises through the natural process of interaction, intra-action and co-operation between members of a society, be they foreign or native born.
The initiative is about activating agency. It is about you and I making use of the skills, networks and knowledge we have to make the towns and cities we live in more familiar and more accessible as they (and we) undergo change.
We are working with actors in society such as artists, entrepreneurs, restaurant owners, corporations, cultural organizations, municipal and state institutions and others who are enthusiastic about supporting creative projects in one way or another.
We would like to build a strong network of different kinds of artists with immigrant backgrounds: painters, sculpturers, photographers, graphic designers, web designers, media experts, film makers, poets, novelists … and the list goes on.
