S’il pleut alors je …

a poetic installation – walk through, read, listen, feel

Written by Pauline Jupin

(rul ned for et resumé på dansk)

“Parcourir un texte” (“to browse a text”)  is a French expression  which  our installation applies in its primary sense.

Visitors are invited to follow a route marked out by a series of poems – a logbook of a kind – by a “self” after  the  departure of an “other.”   Attempts to explore the intricacies  and maneuverings of consciousness,  perception and memory of this “self,” in dissolution, regression, struggle, redefinition.

To explore the effects of discord and of scrutiny on reality … To explore the fine mechanic of  the inner self, to expose it.

A mechanic, as it happens, found again in the scenography and plastic images composing it.   Getting to prolong  reflections of  these simple movements, often almost imperceptible, which change us fundamentally.

By moving about and interacting the wandering audience becomes a composite of the space-time of the poem.   The route reinvents itself,  unique each time.
