What if Diversity Was Not an Issue?

UKK and Aarhus Billedkunstcenter are happy to invite you to ‘What If Diversity Was Not An Issue?’. An afternoon with two workshops carried out by Aysha Amin and IMMART’s Research Curator, Letícia Stallone at KH7 artspace, in Aarhus.

This event is designed to give each person an opportunity to reflect upon it from their social location, examine interactions within and between broader systems of privilege and oppression; and reflect on how their social location does affect their approaches to education, research, and artistic practice.

Participation is free of charge!

IMMART Visits Ughetta Dallimonti

9 November 2024 – Treat yourself on Saturday 9th November to some magic and come to experience this fusion of art, space, and music. Artist Ughetta Dallimonte warmly invites IMMART to visit her first solo exhibition at the iconic Brøndshøj Water Tower.

If you cannot attend the opening there are two other dates where Ughetta will be delighted to show you her exhibition. Everyone is welcome!

GAG @ Kvinder og Kunst Art Fair

9-10 November 2024 – Over 70 artists are exhibiting at this year’s Kvinder & Kunst Art Fair and Dyveke, Aska and Sandra from the Gemini Art Group (GAG) are three of them!

We look forward to the fair and to supporting GAG with their very first group exhibition.

IMMART Network Online

20 December 2024 – IMMART Chairperson and Founder Nicol Savinetti will lead a conversation about IMMART past, present and future, and we shall also hear from some of the artists in the network about their art journey here in Denmark.

IMMART Dinner with GAG

November 2024 – Join us for an informal gathering and hear more about GAG – Gemini Art Group, an all-female collective of visual artists brought together by a shared passion for creativity and a commitment to mutual support. Spanning diverse artistic disciplines and styles, each woman contributes her own distinct perspective to the collective tapestry.

It is a dinner … pot luck … which means you bring along a special dish and a bottle of soda, wine or some beers to share with the rest of the guests attending.

New Year's Drinks

January 2025 – Join us for the traditional New Year’s Drinks and snacks at Gallerie Lorien together with the members of the IMMART Network and the gallery regulars.

IMMART Visits Shaanea Mendis

February 2025 – IMMART visits the home of Shaanea Mendis to view her wonderful collection of Sri Lankan art, which of course includes many fine examples of her own work.

Both artists and non-artist who are familiar with and new to IMMART are welcome but registration is required.
