The cultural festival ARTIVAL RE:CONNECT took place between February and November 2023, online and in real life in Stockholm in Sweden, Oslo in Norway, Helsinki in Finland, and Copenhagen and Bornholm in Denmark. Artists, art organisers, and cultural workers from all over the world who are living in the Nordic region contributed to an amazing experience that we will never forget!
As part of our evaluation, in 2024, we have spent time completing a Human Rights Impact Assessment (HRIA) and a editing a book both of which will be published before the end of the year.
Below you can read a little about the numerous events that took place, see which artists and organisations participated, and who kindly supported and sponsored the festival.
We look forward to sharing more soon!

My Window, My Frame installation is composed of three elements: images, music, and words. These elements are intertwined in short acts, each with different approaches and sensations. The projected images, accompanied by live music and poetry readings, invite us to reconnect with ourselves, others, and nature.
The images were taken by the photographer Claudia Adeath; the music was composed and performed by Fernando Massino, and the poems were written and performed by Claudia Cohen. Together, the artists explore the feelings of loneliness and reconnection imposed by that interruption, in daily life, that was the pandemic.
